Just some things that made me smile the last two mornings.
This is what I came out of my bedroom and breakfast with two days ago (after a bad night of sleep this made me smile large – but didn’t make the yawning go away..)
Then I woke up the next morning wondering, it’s going to be a beautiful spring day in New England – warm later on – but right now it’s around freezing. How do you dress for this weather? Talula had the answer – wool sweater and shorts of course – why didn’t I think of that?
So I guess while I said this had nothing to do with parenting; I wonder if maybe if I hadn’t been introduced to PonT and Vicki if I would have sent Talula off to change out of her spring outfit instead of just smiling and enjoying her love of life. And maybe I wouldn’t have been so tollerant of Thor wearing his ski helmet/darth vadar helment that he was so excited to wear to his last ski lesson. I guess it’s not really a question I can answer, but I can say that I appreciate my munchkins putting a smile on my face first thing in the morning, two days in a row. And that’s no easy task.
